On 29th March 2023, the Organising Committee of the European Universities Beach Championship Malaga 2023 met at the offices of the Sports Service of the University of Malaga, headquarters of the Organising Committee.
The meeting was led by the president and vice-president of the Organising Committee together with the staff assigned to the different areas that have been set up for the organisation of the event: assistant to the vice-president and communication, the general secretariat, technical secretariat, protocol, facilities and logistics, medical area, economic management and press, image and social networks. The meeting was also attended by Óscar Miras as National Beach Handball Technical Delegate for the Championship and Pedro Muñoz, representative of INTERCAMBIA, in charge of the volunteers.
All members of the Organising Committee were informed about the latest developments of the project and a dialogue was established between the different areas of the organisation. Aspects related to accommodation, transport, event logistics, health care, volunteer programmes and technical aspects of each of the sports were discussed. Decisions were also taken on the future tasks of each of the areas
